Dr. Phil's first episode: The Anthony's!!

Good evening! First, I want to wish you all a happy September and remind you to say Rabbit Rabbit first thing in the morning to ensure a great month! Second, I want to share my excitement over Dr. Phil's upcoming first episode of the season!

I learned today that Dr. Phil's first episode of the season will feature the Anthony's, parents of Casey Anthony, who had been accused of her daughter's murder. This is the first time Casey's partents, George and Cindy, are speaking out since their daughter Casey was aquitted of murder this July.

I'd been following Casey's trial through the media, and my friends and I definitely had a lot to say after she was aquitted. I'm excited to see the Anthonys on Dr. Phil, because I'm hoping, as I'm sure many others are, that they will reveal new information or details that we as the public don't know from the trial. The preview from the show can be seen here:

The show will be premiering on Monday, and is the first show of the new Dr. Phil season. I'm a huge fan of Dr. Phil's show, and I'm really hoping he'll ask some deep questions of the Anthonys. For one, I want to know what they think happened to their granddaughter, and whether they believe Casey's lies.

I personally think Casey is completely guilty and should have gone to jail for life, but maybe seeing this show will actually change my mind. We'll have to wait until Monday to see, but one thing's for sure: I will be there at 5:00pm on next Monday watching Dr. Phil interview the Anthonys!!

Coming soon: a giveaway from Etsy!

Hello! This post is to inform you all that a giveaway from Etsy will be happening on this blog very shortly! I've been in contact will some wonderful Etsy artists who are very excited to work with Not One Ordinary Moment to do a review and giveaway!

Let me know in the comments what types of giveaways you'd like to see on this blog in the future, and your expiriences will blog giveaways. I started entering blog giveaways two years ago in the Spring of 2009. Since then, I have carefully kept track of everything I have won in a small notebook, and to date I have won about $1,500.00 worth of products!

Some of my favorite things that I have won are Metrin Skincare, a Karmin Ultra-G Hair Straightener, a Tidy Books bookcase, a KidzBop CD, and a Logic Puzzles book!

Bookcase with pale rose finish and lowercase letters (Designer Range)

This is a picture of the bookcase I won in 2010!

What I LOVE about Vivoderm!

~This post is in response to a giveaway I received free of charge. All opinions expressed are strictly my own.~

Well, I received the Vivoderm giveaway in the mail and guess what?

I love it!

That's right, Vivoderm is a huge success at this house, and I'd love for you guys to check out their website here:

As part of the giveaway, I received the anti-acne-mask that is linked above. This was definitely my favorite part of the giveaway. Putting on the mask was actually a lot of fun, and I felt like I was at my own personal spa!

The mask comes in powder form with instructions to add water, so it will never dry out! After wearing the mark for half an hour, you remove it with a wet washclothe and Wellah! My skin felt soft and smooth after removing the mask, and I have even seen a reduction in my acne! I only wish Vivoderm had sent me a bigger sample!!

The second part of the giveaway that I loved was the intense moisturizer sample I received! I actually loved that this sample was so small, because it's a perfect travel size to carry around in a purse.

The moisturizer makes my skin feel soft and smooth, and I use it on my face and my hands. Everything from Vivoderm also Smells Amazing! Most of the items smell fresh, like spring, and the toner I received smells like green tea!

All in All, Vivoderm carries some fabulous products that I would encourage you all to purchase. They were so generous and participating in a giveaway that I was lucky enough to win, and I'm sure after my free samples run out I will be headed to the site to purchase some more!!

"Lost" Star Accused of Assault!

Hi Guys, including the crew, who I know will read this,
Tonight's blog post is one of both confusion and disapointment. I read an artilce last night about Matthew Fox, who played Jack on all six season of Lost. Fox reportedly hit and punched a female busdriver after she refused to give him a busride for an unknown reason. I was really disapointed to read this. I LOVE Lost, and watched every episode in order last year until I had finished the series. I believe Matthew Fox is an amazing actor, and he was one of my favorites to watch on the show. As far as I know, Fox hasn't be charged with anything yet, but it's still really sad to see someone so talented accused of violence.

PS to the crew: if you're reading this, I dare you to comment about my legal blindness or some other "fun fact of the day." Go for it.

Ramblings and a Win for me!

Because I'm just starting out with my blog, I've found it very hard to keep up with writing interesting posts! Whevnever I have time to post, I get the feeling I have nothing interesting to say, which has kept me from posting for almost two weeks it looks like! Thankfully, I'm forcing myself to post right now, so here's to some rainy-day-ramblings!

First off, I want to share with you that I recently won a giveaway from the blog Pink Daddy Chatter! The blogpost that I won on can be found here:

and I would love it if you checked it out! I won a load of skincare and beauty products which is awesome. I'll be receiving a full size jar of anti wrinkle eye cream and sample sizes of: facial mask, toner, zinc repairing cream, intense moisturizer, body butter and cocoa foot butter from Vivoderm! I'm excited about the toner and intense moisturizer, and I will let you know what I think of Vivoderm once I receive the prize!

My other news is that we will be taking the family to Water Country tomorrow in Portsmouth, NH! Baby A is five this summer, so she'll be able to do that much more! Since the kids in our family are at three completely different levels, 5, 12, and 15, we're thinking that going to a bigger park will be better for everyone. I haven't been to water country in years but I remember going with summer camp growing up, and it's sure to be a really fun day! Check out this video of one of the bigger rides there called the Dragon's Den!

Finally, I found out today that a friend of mine from the playhouse summer 2010 is doing Pinkalicious at Ogunquit Playhouse this summer! I knew he was in the show, but had no idea he was so close until today! I really hope I get the chance to see the show because I never know when I'll get to see people I meet at the playhouse again, and Ogunquit is so close that I would feel bad for not going to see the show and say a quick hi to Harrison! He's playing Mr. Pinkerton, who I'm assuming is the father in the show. It's a kid's show so Angie would love it, but I don't know if I'm up for paying for a ticket for her and one for myself. I'm hoping another friend of mine who also worked with Harrison last summer will be able to go too!

So I guess this blog post was a worthwhile one, and obviously long overdue. I'm really going to try much harder to post more often, and I'd love to do more posts on giveaways! Afterall, I did start this blog to win giveaways, and now I've finally won something really great!
